Site visit of UWC East Campus

Measurement & Verification Pte Ltd was engaged by the Institution of Engineers to conduct a site visit of UWC East Campus for participants of the Singapore Certified Energy Manager (SCEM) programme on 29 June 2022.

The site visit is part of an engagement session for the SCEM programme. During the visit, Er Steven Kang, Managing Director of Measurement & Verification Pte Ltd went through the design of the Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV) systems at the campus, pointing out its rationale and benefits. Er Steven Kang also touched on the Building Management System supporting the ACMV systems.

The 21 participants hailed from various sectors, including desalination, property management, defence, waste management and manufacturing.

The SCEM programme is developed by the Energy Sustainability Unit of the National University of Singapore, with sponsorship from the Economic Development Board’s Locally-based Enterprise Advancement Programme. The programme offers a formal training and certification system for engineers who are keen to develop their careers in energy management.
