Mr Lee sharing his perspective towards Sustainability of Green Mark Buildings
At a discussion on Measurement and Verification of HVAC services conference hosted by the National Metrological Centre(NMC) in March 2015,Mr. Lee Eng Lock, our Deputy Chairman and Senior Technical Director, dwelt on the “Sustainability of Green Mark buildings – an M&V consultant perspective” .
He stressed that the cooling system of a building can account for 30-50% of total building energy usage. Building owners, Facility managers ( FM) and Mechanical & Electrical ( M&E) consultants have the onus to prove their building systems, especially Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning ( HVAC) system meets specific requirement in order to achieve Green Mark status.
